Workout plan for diabetic patients

Exercise is especially a must if you are suffering from diabetes. Regular exercise would keep the blood glucose level in control and thus lower the risk of heart attack. Walking exercises would reduce the cholesterol level in the body. Also, exercise helps in maintaining proper body weight. Discuss with your doctor about the exercise program suitable for your body. Include aerobic exercises in the plan as they strengthen the heart. Swimming is one of the best aerobic exercises suitable for diabetic patients. Exercise for a minimum of 30-45 minutes daily. Regular exercising would yield the most effective results. Wear cotton socks and proper shoes while walking. Follow a healthy diet plan suitable for your workout. But do remember to consult your doctor before starting on these exercises.
